What we store
PowerNotes stores the minimum data needed to run the app:
- Your account details (email and basic profile information).
- Your uploaded PowerPoint decks and generated notes.
- Basic usage information (for example, when you created a deck).
How your data is used
We use your decks and notes only to:
- Generate and display study notes for you.
- Power StudyBuddy answers based on your own content.
- Keep your dashboard and deck history in sync.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to train public AI models.
Third‑party services
PowerNotes relies on trusted third‑party services for infrastructure and AI:
- Authentication and storage are handled by our backend provider (e.g. Supabase).
- Presentation viewing may use Microsoft Office Online to render your slides securely in the browser.
- AI features (notes generation and StudyBuddy) are powered by third‑party LLM providers.
Your choices
- You can delete a deck from your dashboard at any time.
- You can request account deletion or data export by emailing ADT_175@icloud.com.
